Since 1954 we have been working on alginate based remedies for, among onthers, treatment of adipositas and some ventricle illnesses. Earlier no alginates have been used for these purposes in the internal medicine. (In Sweden i.e.) 1955, we presented a preliminary bulletin and gave further information at a speach, April 1956, in Svenska f\u00f6reningen for inv\u00e4rtesmedicin (The Swedish Association for Internal Medicin.) We have now during three years used these remedies against adipositas in connection with diet- and regimekeeping. Good results have been under treatment during more than 2 months. Some patients did not follow the diet- and regimekeeping. As alginates have a considerably absorbing and acid binding effedt which is protracted, we have also tested them on clientele with symptom of ventricle. Acid troubles have theryby been eliminated and with ulcus patients a good healing has in several cases been noticed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
